| 9000 athletes aged 35 to 100 from over 70 countries taking part in 31 track & Field and road events. There was even a Cross Country event. An extraordinary week of athletics competition centred around the fabulous Italian seaside resort of Riccione. Another 'friendly games' with great cameraderie but nevertheless serious competition throughout all age groups and events. No time to cover all of my highlights including the M70 Pole Vault or the W75 80m Hurdles, so just a small collection from the 20K Walk. PJ |
